Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John 4:11-12 It’s that simple: If anyone is hating in God’s name–voting to keep poor people poor without first trying to understand, refusing to associate with them because of their sins, refusing to welcome them in churches–that person is not following Jesus’ example OR the commandments of the Bible.

Great article, however, there are really only 2 passages (the 2 in Leviticus) that actually can be considered to be about homosexuality and even they would not be a blanket condemnation.

I’m trying to figure wordpress out myself. (Do you mean just on wordpress, or in other social media?) I might suggest copying and pasting the url to whatever media they use, or just suggesting “aNewCommandment.wordpress.com” Or, if you have a wordpress account, use the “reblog” button above.

May I add 1 John 4:20 to your repertoire?

“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” (NIV)
